Vietsovpetro Medical Center Affirms Its Role in Accompanying the Health Sector of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province

From November 27-29, 2024, the media continuously reported on cases of mass poisoning suspected to be caused by eating bread at the Banh Mi - Xoi Co Ba Ben Dinh shop, causing more than 300 people to be hospitalized.

At the time of the poisoning, the Emergency Department of Vietsovpetro Medical Center received more than 80 patients with intestinal infections with symptoms of high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration... All patients were actively examined by doctors such as intravenous fluids, ordered to do necessary tests... treated stably and discharged for outpatient treatment.

On November 29, 2024, Mr. Hoang Vu Thanh, Chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee, visited Vietsovpetro Medical Center to visit the patients and send his sincere thanks to the medical team of the Emergency Department of the Medical Center for their quick response, actively treating patients effectively and promptly.

On behalf of Vietsovpetro Medical Center, Master - Doctor Nguyen Van Hiep - Deputy Director of Vietsovpetro Medical Center thanked the leaders of Vung Tau City for their encouragement and promised to focus all their abilities and resources to work side by side with the Health Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in treating patients.
