Vietsovpetro Medical Center Emergency Department operates 24/7 every day of the year including holidays; always ready to receive all types of patients.

• Doctors and nurses are highly trained in Emergency Medicine, always ready to quickly receive, respond to and handle emergency cases, saving the lives of patients in critical situations.

The emergency procedure is built on five principles:

Outpatient emergency:

Vietsovpetro Medical Center's Emergency Department provides emergency services, including: Outpatient emergency, shore emergency, sea emergency, ready to respond to mass emergency, emergency in disaster situations, etc. Transferring to higher levels for treatment, after assessing and predicting the treatment capabilities of patients at higher-level medical facilities.

Emergency treatment area:

The treatment area at the Emergency Department includes 10 beds and 4 stretchers to meet the examination and treatment needs of patients.

Patients in the Inpatient Treatment Area of ​​the Emergency Department are always cared for and served with care and attention. Patients are given tests and paraclinical tests such as: CT scan, MRI, X-ray, blood test at the bedside, electrocardiogram, ultrasound at the bedside... to create convenience and shorten time, giving quick and timely diagnosis.

In recent years, the Emergency Department has always increased learning and updated the application of new knowledge in patient treatment:

- Using multi-function ventilators in the treatment of severe respiratory failure, malignant bronchial asthma, drowning, severe heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc.

- Use of drugs and equipment in monitoring and emergency treatment of cardiovascular diseases, poisoning, electrolyte disorders, etc.;

- Modern equipment has also been equipped in the department to serve patients, to improve treatment efficiency and speed such as: ventilator, monitor, blood gas-electrolyte meter, emergency cardioverter.
